Remba Park Maverick – Young Event Horse Winner
Remba Park Maverick had caught the eye of a number of top horseflesh judges during his short career. This was demonstrated by his winning of the WA Young Event Horse Competition 2 years in a row in 2007 and 2008.
In both years Bruce beat some lovely and very well performed young horses. In 2007 Wayne Roycroft commented that Bruce was equal to the best young horses in Australia. In 2008 Wayne and dressage legend Harry Boldt were both very impressed with Bruce and Wayne commented that the Horse had come along exceptionally over the last 12 months and he was looking forward to seeing the horse campaigning over East soon Sometimes there is no justice and it is a tragedy for the WA Eventing Community to lose this talented young horse – and it was great tragedy for the Ellis family.
